This page explains how to delete your On Track GPS account and the data attached to it. On Track GPS is published by On Track GPS, LLC.

Delete your account from inside the app

This is the fastest way and takes effect immediately.

• Open On Track GPS and go to the HQ tab. If you see the subscription screen instead, tap Account Settings at the bottom and skip the next step.
• Tap the settings icon in the top right corner
• Scroll to Delete Account and tap it
• Confirm, then enter your password

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email support@getontrackgps.com from the address on your account with the subject line Delete My Account. Include the email address you signed up with so we can find the right record.

We will confirm the request and complete it within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your account and login credentials
• Your callsign and profile details
• Every recorded activity, including distance, elevation, pack weight, and effort scores
• Your lifetime, yearly, monthly, and weekly totals
• Your squad memberships
• Squad missions and calendar events you created

Squads you created stay in place for their other members, without you in them.

What is kept, and for how long

• Backups. Deleted data can remain in recovery backups for up to 7 days before it is permanently removed. It is not accessed or used during that window.
• Subscription and purchase records. Kept by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat, the service that manages subscriptions for us, under their own policies and as required for tax and accounting. Email us if you also want your RevenueCat record removed. Cancel a subscription through your app store — deleting your account does not cancel it.
• Records required by law. Anything we are legally obliged to retain, kept only for as long as the obligation lasts.

Account deletion cannot be undone. Your recorded activities and effort scores are gone permanently and cannot be restored.

Deleting individual hikes

Single activities cannot be deleted on their own. The app keeps your 10 highest-scoring and 40 most recent activities and removes older ones automatically. Deleting your account removes all of them.
